So this is it! Day fourteen of our two-week Easter Shocase Broadcast.
We hope you've enjoyed our unique variety of music as much as we've enjoyed playing it.
We hope you've been as impressed by our guests as we've been - some amazing and truly inspiring people, thank you to you all.
We hope you feel like you've made some new friends in Scott, Annie, Steve, James, Ashley, Joanna and Ronnie - they're a great bunch of characters!
Throughout our last day on-air we'll be playing only the best Christian music from 7am, UK time. We'll be listening back to some of our fasicinating studio guests from the last two weeks and James will be in the studio from 7pm to 8pm to close it all down - for now!

Ronne Barbour brings us Off the Bench at 2pm - our Saturday Sports Show on the Lighthouse NetCast. This week he's talking to a number of experts about the Psychology of Sport. Can a quick prayer before the match seal victory? Is God really going to help you beat your personal best? Does the power of the mind overrule the power of the body? If you're a competitive sportsperson, you'll find this show useful - just don't tell your competitor!
This afternoon at 3pm, it's Steve's last show for our Easter Showcase Broadcast. Just after 4.30pm, he's joined by Karen Mansfield who attends St. Cecilia's Church in Kidderminster, where Steve also worships. Karen turned her hand to poetry during a difficult time in her life and penned The Storm - perhaps you will relate?
Scott brings us his final Evening Show from Barbados at 6pm (1pm for him!), then James breaks our the heavy stuff for the Saturday Rock Show from 8pm to midnight with Christian rockers POD, Thousand Foot Krutch, Reliant K, Creed, DC Talk, Red, Skillet, Switchfoot and many more!

At midday, James speaks to David Post about his time at St. George's Church in Baghdad and with Canon Andrew White of FRRME - the Foundation for Relief and Reconcilliation in the Middle East. Today, their final chat for the time-being, they talk about David’s experiences of travelling to and from Baghdad, no easy task as you would imagine! There's also the opportunity to hear some of Andrew White’s words as he describes the pain and suffering of his people in Iraq, but also their immense faith.
Did you correctly work out yesterday's 24 Hour Tease? What is the link between the words ABSTEMIOUS and FACETIOUS? Top marks if you worked out that they are the only words in the Oxford English Dictionary that contain all five vowels in the correct order! We all love our Christian Anthems on the Lighthouse NetCast but every one of the artists you hear had to start somewhere. At 11am, James talks to Marc Dunn, singer/songwiter from the Lighthouse NetCast's home town of Devizes in Wiltshire, UK. Marc has recently recorded his EP "Returning", which features the three songs "Pioneers", "Waiting" and "Dreams". We'll check out the songs on the show too!
There's one final chance to listen to Grace Winnitt chatting to Steve this afternoon about her debut album "Deliver Me". Grace is clearly an up-and-coming Christian artist with a God-given gift and talent for writing and singing her own songs. Remember where you heard her first!

Today they talk about Canon Andrew White himself and the tireless work he does, despite suffering from MS. They also focus on the work St. George's does for physically and mentally disadvantaged children and the huge difference this makes to their lives.

At midday, James speaks further to David Post about his time at St. George's Church in Baghdad and with Canon Andrew White of FRRME - the Foundation for Relief and Reconcilliation in the Middle East. Today they talk about the clinic set up by St. George’s to offer medical help to anyone in Baghdad who needs it, they also talk more about the talks David gives in churches when he’s on his cycling tours to promote the work they do and also more about Andrew’s multi-faith team at the church.
Did you correctly work out yesterday's 24 Hour Tease? A snail crawls slowly up a garden wall 48cm high. If he crawls 8cm upwards each day and slips back 3cm each night, how long will it take to reach to top of the wall? It took him exactly 9 days. 8 - 3cm per day but he won't slip back down when he gets to 48cm (on day 9) because that's the top of the wall. Well done!

Back in January, James drove 400 miles round trip for the opportunity to spend an afternoon with David Post, also known as the Cycling Vicar! They met when David gave a talk at James’ church about his experience in Baghdad while spending a week with Canon Andrew White at St. George’s Church, a Christian church right in the heart of the capital city of Iraq. David now spends much of his time supporting the work of FRRME - the Foundation for Relief and Reconcilliation in the Middle East – an organisation that is responsible for an immense amount and variety of help and support delivered to the people of Iraq and beyond. But doing this good work doesn’t come without cost. David talks about life in Baghdad and how St. George’s Church serves the people of Iraq. Listen in each day this week (Tuesday to Friday) at midday, UK time.

Graham Bulling joins James after 11am to talk about his impromptu song writing debut. It's quite a story and the song's great! Graham explains more about where the inspiration came from and we'll get to hear Chris Stone perform the song.

Yesterday, as part of Good Friday rememberance, a group of people in Lighthouse NetCast's hometown of Devizes, UK, met in the centre of town to recreate the scene of almost two thousand years ago, carrying three full-size wooden crosses up to the top of Roundway Hill. The crosses can be seen from miles around and will remain in place until tomorrow, the day of our Saviour's Resurrection!
There's another chance to hear James talking to retired chaplain, Charles Sutherlan - otherwise known as Charlie Chaplain! Listen back to all of Charlie's wonderful insights from his many years as a chaplain between 8am and midday, UK time.
Ronne Barbour brings us Off the Bench at 2pm - our Saturday Sports Show on the Lighthouse NetCast. This week he's talking to General Director of Christians in Sport, Graham Daniels. Graham talks about life growing up in his native Wales, his professional football career, his Christian journey and how came to lead Christians in Sport.

Good Friday - strange name for the day that we remember the crucifiction of Jesus Christ. We know it felt anything other than good for the followers of Jesus. There are numerous different accounts of how and why this day became known as Good Friday but we seem to be left to come to our own conclusions. Personally, I think of it as the day we all became good in the sight of God, thanks to the enourmous sacrifice of His Son and the price He paid to cleanse us of our sin. It's a priceless gift given for all of us. All we have to do is willingly accept the most precious gift we'll ever receive. And remember, it may be Friday, but Sunday is coming! Pam Sloane joins James in the studio at 11am to talk about her experiences volunteering for Wheels for the World - an Christian organisation that restores old wheelchairs and delivers them to those who need them in parts of the world where medical facilities sparse.
